Closed playtest · Alpha 1.36

Before you
open the door.

An invitation lets you test the current build. It is free, it is not a subscription, and alpha saves may need to be reset later in development.

01

Before entering

Use a current browser, keep several hundred megabytes free for caches and exports, and store the recovery codes shown at account creation somewhere outside the browser.

02

During the first hour

Follow First Night, notice where you hesitate, and test both the normal device save and one online backup. If something is confusing, write down the exact words that confused you.

03

When something breaks

Stop repeating the action, keep the local save, note what you clicked and what happened, then use the report form. A small world-view image is optional and never includes menus or account details.

A mature fictional wasteland.

Gravebloom includes stylised violence, death, injury, crime, strong language, substance use, cannabis-related fictional systems, economic hardship, body-horror implications, bereavement and oppressive atmosphere. It contains no real medical, drug-production or weapon-making instructions.

The useful answers before you begin.

Do I need an invitation?

Yes. Anyone can read the website, but account registration and the game itself are invitation-only during the closed test.

What should I test first?

Follow First Night, try an ordinary job, return from an expedition and make or restore an online backup. Note any moment where you cannot tell what the game expects next.

Will progress be wiped?

Alpha 1.36 keeps your current saves. If a future update needs a reset, it will be announced on Known Issues and Updates before it happens.

Can I play on phone and desktop?

Yes. Recent Android and desktop browsers are the primary pass. Portrait, touch, mouse and keyboard are supported; iPhone and older browsers may need extra testing.

What is recorded?

A tester alias, session length, screens visited, region, broad progress and economy ranges, milestones, save health and anything you choose to write in a report. Your character name, dialogue and full inventory are not copied.

Can I remove playtest records?

Yes. Game Settings can erase session records and reports without deleting your account or save. The person running the test can also reset only your game progress if you ask.

Use the exact email named by the Keeper.

Invitation links expire, are single-use and can be revoked. Never forward one to another person.
