A vehicle is not a fast-travel button. It is fuel, receipts, scraped knuckles and the hope that a new noise can wait until morning.
From wreck to road
Each stage needs materials, Cash and enough Engineering to do the job. If your skill is too low, nothing is spent.
Find a registered wreck beyond the safe roads. Scavenging identifies what remains; Survival gets the shell home.
Engineering checks the rails, mounts and body geometry before a valuable part is allowed near it.
Fuel, cooling, timing, induction and electrics become one expensive argument that must all be true at once.
Tyres, bearings, steering, suspension and brakes decide whether speed is progress or merely a shorter funeral.
A mechanic signs the finished machine as roadworthy and records its owner. After that, it is finally yours to worry about.
The old manufacturers
Small hatches, executive saloons, work vans and grand tourers all survived in some form. Gravebloom’s makes and models are fictional, with their own shapes, parts and histories.
Executive saloons and long-road grand tourers built around quiet stability.
Compact hatchbacks and light coupes that reward mechanical sympathy.
Wagons with large service bays and practical load geometry.
Dense-city saloons whose old wiring is both elegant and unforgiving.
Four-wheel-drive work machines made to be repaired outside.
Vans, campers and flood-road bodies assembled around useful interiors.
Heavy motorhomes that turn fuel, maintenance and route planning into a moving household.
Trouble on the road
Each region has its own roadside trouble: floods, hidden spikes, bad bearings, stranded couriers and fuel pumps that should not still work. How you respond depends on your skills, supplies and wallet.
A concealed rail spike opens a tyre outside the Hollow; read the fault, pay for recovery, or leave a clear warning.
A flooded culvert asks for Survival judgement before the alternator and intake meet the drowned road.
A packet walker, a trapped wheel and a satchel that must stay dry turn roadside aid into a remembered encounter.
An alternator bearing changes its note beneath a dead flyover where stopping carries a different danger.
A tended hand pump with no visible attendant makes trust, fuel margin and inspection part of one decision.
A stalled ore line asks for a second diagnosis while hot pipes and falling sparks narrow the safe working time.
Six regional mechanics
Each mechanic has a method, a favourite kind of road and a strong opinion about what you have done to the vehicle. They remember earlier conversations and give practical advice without charging you for saying hello.
Sequence before panic · chapel roads · patient matched parts
Floodwater electrics · exact Lockvan marks · low-mounted tanks
Root-lifted roads · steering causes · systems over trophies
Meter before replacement · city glass · privacy is not security
Corrosion months ahead · causeway wind · protected hidden faces
Heat as a ledger · ore-carrier roads · inspectable insulation
Parts that do something
Injectors change delivery. A turbo adds heat and load. Timing hardware trades precision against service life. Tyres alter grip, noise, wear and fuel use. Every model takes its own compatible parts across twenty-eight systems, five grades and three makers.
Living on wheels
Campers and motorhomes have interiors you can enter and fit out. They are flexible, cramped, noisy and expensive to keep moving. A fixed property still offers more space, defence and serious production.
A fair warning
Vehicles wear only when you drive them. There are no loot boxes, paid advantages, daily streaks or repair bills ticking up while you are logged out. Player vehicle sales will stay closed until real sellers can list real owned vehicles safely.
